Mark Christensen is a registered pharmacist in Utah and Oregon, and also is an Associate Professor at the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy. MRSA and community acquired staph infections are areas of expertise. Dr. Christensen has done extensive research in the development and formulation of oral, topical and transdermal drug delivery systems for human and veterinary drugs. He also has done extensive research in pharmacokinetics of drugs in valuable veterinary animals to provide more rational dosages and therapy. His work has been published in more than 50 scientific publications, and he has given numerous presentations nationally on drug delivery and drug disposition in veterinary and human drug products. He is currently listed as an inventor on five patents in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom and Sweden, with several more patent applications under review.
Dr. Christensen earned his B.S. in Pharmacy and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at the University of Utah.
