Before Inrix, Mistele was an executive at Microsoft, responsible for building 4 businesses including Automotive Telematics & Mobile Speech, Mobile Services, HomeAdvisor Technologies, Inc. and Microsoft Investor/MSN MoneyCentral. He was most recently the GM of Microsoft¿s Automotive Group responsible for driving the overall market success of Microsoft¿s automotive products, including T-Box ¿ their wireless telematics device (known as Ford Sync and Fiat Blue & Me) and Voice Command ¿ a revolutionary speech recognition product for the Pocket PC.
Prior to Automotive, Mistele was the GM of Microsoft¿s Mobile Services Business Unit. Earlier as a program manager, he was responsible for the business and finance category of The Microsoft Network, later becoming the driving force behind Microsoft Investor (now MSN MoneyCentral).
